Network Security Protocols

Network Security is vital in protecting client data and information, ensuring data confidentiality, and ensuring security and privacy of the use of our services. Through data transfer and security protocols, your use of the Services is subject to our compliance with data protection regulations. In general, we take reasonable precautions to reduce the risk of unauthorized access to or disclosure of your data, and maintain appropriate technical and organizational security measures, and that’s why our services and companies as Fortinet specialized in the area of network security. Where we store your data, we will only do so securely in the manner we use it to keep our system and services secure, and not to impede its recovery. We may disclose your data where required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with legal process served on us or our Service Providers, (b) enforce our Terms of Use, including investigating alleged abuse of the Services, or (c) protect and defend our rights and property, and our users. Export Control Policy The Services are a world where these practices are forbidden and unwise. Therefore, unless required or permitted by law, you agree that we do not export, re-export, transfer, or offer to send any products or services (including any software) or engage in any activities that violate U.S. export laws or regulations. Where we do provide or promote products and services that are subject to export restrictions, including the export or re-export restrictions of the United States, we must provide the pertinent information for any such product or service to ensure you are aware of such restrictions. Please refer to U.S. export control laws, regulations, and policies. Sanctions The USA is protected by sanctions against individuals and organizations responsible for Human Rights violations. All orders for US Residents must be forwarded to the Department of the Treasury, Foreign Operations Division (FOD), and/or U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) for review and approval prior to issuance. This means that any such order is subject to an import ban, and sanctions will not be lifted until such time as the USA Treasury has approved its export or re-export, or prior to receipt by the customer of the shipment. Orders to and from Crimea, and transactions in any products or services made available therefrom, are not acceptable to the U.S. Government. If your payment is frozen or we fail to send you a product or service, your credit card will be declined and your account will be closed. You must not use your U.S. credit card to fund your account with payments from any outside source, including from such persons as you have already funded, whether for a single purchase or in large amounts. U.S. sanctions may restrict you from engaging in certain business activities, including (a) the holding of money, funds, property, or securities in or out of the United States; or (b) making international wire transfers or transfers to or from the United States. Information Security We take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is secure. We do not keep or use your personal information for any purpose other than providing the Service to you. We cannot guarantee the security of any personal information you may provide to us in our dealings with you. If you provide your personal information to a third party, you do so at your own risk and that party is responsible for complying with the relevant laws and regulations that govern such third parties.
