If you use the services developer functions, including Twitter for websites (, Twitter Cards (, Public API ( or Connect to Twitter (, you accept our development agreement ( and development policy ( If you wish to reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, transfer, publicly display, present, transfer or otherwise use The Services or Content on the Services, you must use the interfaces and instructions we provide, unless authorized by Twitter Services, these Terms or Terms provided on If you are a security researcher, you must follow the rules of Twitter`s Vulnerability Reporting Program ( The requirements set out in the previous paragraph may not apply to those who participate in Twitter`s Security Vulnerability Notification Program. Our Privacy Policy ( describes how we handle the information you provide us when using our services. You understand that by using the Services, you are involved in the collection and use of this information (as stated in the privacy policy), including the transfer of this information to the United States, Ireland and/or other countries for storage, processing and use by Twitter and its associated companies. You can only use the Services if you enter into a binding contract with Twitter and you are not a person who is excluded from receiving services under the laws of your jurisdiction. In any case, you must be at least 13 years old or, in the case of Periscope, 16 years old to be able to use the services. If you agree to these conditions and use the services on behalf of a company, organization, government or other legal entity, you ensure and guarantee that you are entitled to do so and that you are entitled to apply that entity to these conditions, in which case the terms “you” and “you” used in these Terms refer to that entity.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates the user agreement, including, for example, copyright or trademark infringement or other intellectual property misappropriation, identity change, illegal behaviour or harassment.
